Requirements

• Required certification: OR Tech - CVOR
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1+ years required for submission 2. Cases: Angioplasty/stenting, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR procedures 3. Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA required; ACLS preferred; must be NBSTSA or NCCT certification accepted if ST employed in S.C. prior to January 1, 2008 or completed ST military training 4. License: Not specified for state requirements 5. Education: Successful completion of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologist training in U.S. Armed Forces required 6. EMR: 1-year minimum EPIC EMR experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 day shifts; call requirements discussed during interview - Vascular: 7-10 days on call including weekends; Hearts: 10-15 days on call and 2 weekends 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Operating Room staff must be 50+ miles from Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville; 50.0-99.9 miles accepted at 10% bill rate reduction; 100+ miles full rate 11.
