As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Driver in Tipton, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen and direct contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers to designated areas while supporting controlled access to production, warehouse, and administrative spaces.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter, documenting security-related observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
