Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Nevada Special Education teaching license required
• Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive, equitable classrooms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and staff
• Ability to develop and adapt IEPs to meet individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lessons and interventions aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student success
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture that values diversity and inclusion
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction based on data and observations
• Engage and communicate regularly with families and guardians
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
