The Residential HVAC Service Technician plays a critical role in servicing all types of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Working as part of a small service team, the technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair, utilizing standard HVAC tools and diagnostic software. This role involves regional travel and daily use of a company vehicle equipped with specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality service and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance and system testing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Complete repairs and parts replacement efficiently
- Ensure adherence to safety compliance standards
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Utilize diagnostic software and mobile service applications
- Travel regionally using company vehicle equipped with specialized tools
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC service
- Effective customer communication abilities
- Certification in HVAC Technology
- Strong skills in HVAC system diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of safety procedures and mechanical aptitude
- Good time management skills
