Institutional Commodity Sales - Analyst

Global Commodities is responsible for the sale and marketing of commodity financial products, including Precious Metals, Base Metals, Energy and Agricultural Commodities, to institutional and corporate clients worldwide. This Analyst role within Americas Sales and Marketing supports the institutional sales team covering Americas clients (primarily hedge funds and asset managers) across the commodities complex. The Analyst will assist with day‑to‑day trading activities, focusing on investor products and index space, and will quickly grow to cover their own book of business and become the primary point of contact for assigned coverage. Responsibilities Assist in the desk’s day‑to‑day activities including account coverage, execution and content distribution as well as strategic planning and business organization. Assist the team in covering a broad mandate of commodity responsibilities. Provide commodities coverage to institutional accounts and strengthen the bank's presence with institutional clients in both flow and structured environments. Contribute to building a strong presence that challenges existing competitors in the marketplace. Support other parts of the firm in their commodities marketing efforts. Become the first call for clients’ commodity needs. Qualifications Existing commodities experience, product knowledge and established contacts within the commodities client community. Impeccable integrity, strong work ethic, solid analytical skills and genuine interest in commodity markets. Strong knowledge of the commodities environment, derivatives, and ability to execute with skill and urgency. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills, attention to detail. Interest in the commodities and macro markets. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
