Description******This role is 100% remote but they will prioritize Minneapolis area This Sr. Engineer position will sit on our Advisor Marketing Practice & Promotion product team (AMPP) within the MarTech portfolio. We build, enhance and support many features and platforms that support our field advisors in their marketing to their book of business. The team and this team member has opportunities to work with Salesforce, marketing cloud, Java apps, and other enterprise apps that are widely used by thousands of our field advisors. For development skills, I am looking for highly experienced candidates with a toolkit including Salesforce development (apex, LWCs, REST APIs), marketing cloud development, Java-based development, and OpenShift knowledge.Advisor Marketing Value Statement:Purpose of Advisor Marketing Practice & Promotion is to empower advisors to promote their practice and grow their business in their unique markets. This includes providing design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy and expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business. You will determine specifications, plan, design, and develop business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes - either individually or in concert with product team. Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning Solutions- Apply deep Salesforce technical knowledge to drive outcomes for customers - Ability to work and problem solve independently on initiatives that align to the broader software engineering strategy Implementing Solutions- Member of team that can work independently, as well as collaboratively with team, in developing core software for the product that delivers outcomes.- Consistent and dependable in delivering core software that delivers outcomes and meets/exceeds the teams expectations for stability, scalability, resilience, etc.Learning and Applying New Techniques- Shares new Salesforce features, ideas and techniques with team; encourages junior engineers to invest in learning as a part of their job.Collaborating within the Team- Participate in teams collaboration sessions to provide technical expertise to solve a problem/remove technical roadblocks for the team- Participate in product planning and implementation.
