We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team in Joplin. As a General Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment across various facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks in assigned areas such as offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces to ensure they are free of debris and stains. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, replenishing supplies as needed. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials, ensuring disposal areas are maintained. Follow cleaning schedules and maintain a checklist of duties to ensure nothing is overlooked. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and efficiently. Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, using protective gear and safe cleaning practices. Qualifications Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, if required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.
