Inspector

Inspector - Level 1 Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking an Inspector - Level 1 to join our team in Dulles, VA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Inspector 1 supports quality assurance by inspecting spacecraft components, subassemblies, and final products to ensure they meet company and government standards. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, computer skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the aerospace industry. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will: Perform detailed inspections on both Electrical and Mechanical components at the component level. Confirm acceptable quality standards and workmanship practices are being utilized in assigned work centers Identify discrepant conditions and generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies discovered during inspection processes. Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience. No clearance required to start Able to use Microsoft applications and ability to learn new computer programs/applications easily. Basic technical writing skills are required Strong work ethic and good attitude Personal initiative to become engaged in assigned work area without needing to be constantly coached or led to next assignment. Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $72,600.00 - $121,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
