Full-Stack Cloud Developer

Salary: $98,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• We require a bachelors degree, or an additional 4 years of experience in place of the degree.
• We are looking for expertise in enterprise software design, implementation, and deployment.
• We need strong JavaScript skills and experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• We require solid Java experience, including Spring Boot or comparable frameworks.
• We expect experience working in a Scrum-based development environment.
• We need hands-on familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Bamboo or Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), and Confluence.
• We require proficiency with JSON, YAML, and XML.
• We are looking for experience building distributed, modular architectures such as Microservices or SOA.
• We need a strong understanding of modern cloud networking concepts and enterprise security best practices, including Google Cloud Platform-native security controls and SAST/DAST methodologies, or equivalent cloud environments.
• We require experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• We need cloud development experience.
• We value familiarity with web accessibility standards.
• We require experience using Postman or similar tools to test web services.
• We need experience with application servers or containers such as JBoss or Tomcat.
• We expect extensive experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• We need experience working with both relational and NoSQL data stores.
• We must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust, and approved adjudication is required before onboarding.
• Active Public Trust or suitability clearance is preferred.
• Nice to have: experience reviewing code, documenting code thoroughly, managing multiple priorities, communicating across different formats, and working in Agile environments.
• Nice to have: experience leading small engineering teams, formally or informally.
• Nice to have: experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VS Code.
• Nice to have: Google Cloud Platform certification or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
• Nice to have: experience with cloud-based AI/ML services and MLOps practices.
• Nice to have: proficiency in Python for developing, training, and deploying machine learning models.

• We design, develop, and test full-stack solutions, including enterprise web service APIs, backend services, and user interfaces that consume REST APIs.
• We build internal and external interfaces using microservices and automation patterns as part of a full system modernization effort.
• We collaborate with product management to turn requirements into technical designs and realistic estimates.
• We contribute across the full stack using a cloud technology platform such as Google Cloud Platform, along with industry-standard tools, frameworks, and design patterns.
• We define, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests.
• We develop high-quality, production-ready code in short, iterative cycles.
• We work closely with engineering and QA teams to improve and manage the development pipeline.
• We partner with security teams to ensure required security controls are met.
