Class A CDL Driver

$23 -26 DOE

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering items to clients, customers or job sites in a safe and timely manner. This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities/ Duties 

• Delivers product according to assigned schedules.

• Ensures product is safely secured to the delivery truck.

• Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure they are accurate and complete, and the customer is satisfied.

• Completes delivery logs and reports.

• Adheres to all safety requirements and procedures.

• Assists with loading and unloading product/deliveries as necessary.

• Abides by all transportation laws and DOT regulations and maintains a safe driving record.

• Responds to customer/client inquiries.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing as part of hiring process.

• Drug and alcohol testing performed at random during employment.

• Physical exams and certification required every year

Required Skills/ Abilities 

• Commercial Driver License with clean driving record –  Class B License or Higher Required

• Ability to work independently and anticipate work needs

• Ability to interact professionally with co-workers and customers • Excellent attention to detail

Education and Experience 

• Minimum 2 years flatbed delivery driver experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Class B License training and certification

Physical Requirements 

• Prolonged periods of driving

• Physical mobility to climb steps/stairs, push and pull

• Manual dexterity to operate vehicle

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
