Overview ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Albany, New York. Job Details Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Gather data to accurately assess a patient''s current health status. Assess patients according to their physical or age-related needs. Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients. Administer and record prescribed medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures. Manage airways by performing endotracheal intubations, extubations, and providing pulmonary hygiene and tracheostomy care. Provide emergency life support procedures as needed. Deliver extensive health education to patients and community members. Schedule This position requires three 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7:30 AM) per week, including three holiday shifts per season and every other weekend. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Associate''s Degree (or higher) in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care. Active NBRC credential and a valid New York State Respiratory Therapist license. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in both the Emergency Department and adult critical care required. 1+ year of experience working in a Level 3 NICU is preferred.
