Lateral Associate - Corporate Technology Transactions

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Lateral Associate to join their Technology Transactions practice in New York, NY. The successful candidate will have experience advising clients on technology-driven transactions, including licensing and commercial agreements, with a focus on IP considerations in corporate deals. Duties Advise clients on technology-driven transactions. Draft and negotiate licensing and commercial agreements. Provide guidance on IP considerations in corporate deals. Work on software and SaaS licensing agreements. Handle cloud services and data processing agreements. Participate in joint development and collaboration agreements. Requirements Experience in technology-related and commercial agreements. Familiarity with software and SaaS licensing. Knowledge of cloud services and data processing agreements. Experience with joint development and R&D agreements preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New York. Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Benefits Health care coverage.
