Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - PICUWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a role focused primarily on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to provide exceptional care and support in a fast-paced environment.Shift DetailsShift: Night Shift - 4x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00)Schedule: Every other weekend requiredCertification RequirementsACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support)NBRC RRT (National Board for Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required for roles with Labor & DeliveryPALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - PreferredLicensure RequirementsAn Indiana State License is required. Temporary licenses are accepted, but applicants must have applied for both permanent and temporary licenses.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU settingChildren's Hospital experience within the last 3 years is mandatoryExperience in Level 1 adult facilities is acceptableUnit InformationThe role will focus mainly on the PICU, but candidates should also have experience in NICU. Home units will be assigned based on facility needs, and flexibility to float between PICU, NICU, and Pediatric units is required.Floating RequirementsTravelers may be assigned to float between PICU, NICU, and Pediatric units, with the potential to float to other locations as needed.Additional InformationEffective November 30, 2024, Indiana-based RNs will have restrictions on working at certain facilities. However, there are exceptions for specific roles, and relevant details will be provided during the application process.
