Responsibilities Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026! A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence. The new state‑of‑the‑art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations and will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase, the campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space, offering comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services, and outpatient medical office services. Physical Therapist, PRN – The Physical Therapist (PT) delivers high‑quality physical therapy services in compliance with state licensure laws and American Physical Therapy Association standards. The PT is responsible for comprehensive evaluation, goal‑oriented treatment and medically prescribed programs to restore function, prevent disability and promote optimal recovery. Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. Experience: Minimum 1–3 years experience. 3–5 years of experience preferred. Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities. License / Certification : Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Current certification of Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals. Travel Requirements: Travel is not typically required for this position; however, on an occasional basis, employees may be asked to provide coverage at other facilities within UHS based on operational or staffing needs.
