Information Security Analyst I

Working remotely full-time, the Information Security Analyst I will manage threat detection, monitoring, and incident response as part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, ensuring the protection of institutional information and technology resources. Key responsibilities Respond to and analyze security alerts and incidents, supporting technical investigations of complex security threats Coordinate incident response in alignment with the Information Security Incident Response Plan, participating in containment and eradication activities Conduct real-time monitoring of security events and analyze digital evidence to identify indicators of compromise and attack vectors Required qualifications 2+ years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) or on a cybersecurity incident response team Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Professional certification(s) such as CySA+ or Sec+ Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and cloud security principles Experience with enterprise security tools and IT networking, including familiarity with SIEM technology or EDR tools
