StoneBridge Academy - Omaha in Omaha, NE is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Highschool Daycare staff member. This position plays a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for high school students who require daycare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise high school students during daycare hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for high school students, including games, crafts, and educational exercises.
- Assist students with homework and provide academic support as needed.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized daycare facility.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Prior experience working with high school students in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and caring demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
