Palliative Registered Nurse Variable - Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, WI

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,434/week based on 36 hours/week

Palliative Care RN- Wausau, Wausau WI
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: asap
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours per week
• Shift Requirements: 12 hour variable shifts. days and nights
• every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Float Requirements: To any inpatient unit and to other Central region locations if needed.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
• Required Certifications: WI RN, AHA BLS
• Minimum Experience: 1 Year Inpatient Palliative Care preferred- 2 yrs MS experience REQUIRED
• Charting Experience Required : Epic required
• Required Skillset: Med/Surg skill set required, experience in Palliative Care/Hospice would be helpful
• Primary Cases: Palliative, Comfort/Hospice, Med/Surg
• Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 10 bed unit. 2 RNs and 1 C.NA per 10 patients. 5:1 RN ratio
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
• Scrub Colors: any color
GSA not applicable during orientation week

Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
