CupBop is fast-casual Korean BBQ — rice bowls loaded with noodles, fresh veggies, and craveable proteins, plus signature sauces from sweet (#1) to fire (#10). Born as a food truck in 2013 and now a fast-growing national brand (with a Shark Tank deal from Mark Cuban), CupBop is bringing its bold flavors and high-energy, fun-first culture to Medford, OR this summer. As a brand-new location, we're building our founding leadership team — and Shift Leads are at the heart of it. As a Shift Lead, you're a working member of the crew first — on the line every shift, cooking, serving, and building bowls right alongside the team — while also leading from within: setting the pace, keeping the energy high, and making sure every guest leaves happy. You\'ll support the General Manager and help develop the crew into a tight, fast, fun team. What you'll do: Work the line every shift as a fully active member of the crew — cooking, serving, portioning, and building bowls Lead by example, setting the tone for energy, speed, and service while working alongside the team Run assigned shifts using CupBop operational checklists, keeping the team on pace and on standard Manage the cash registers — handle transactions, drawer counts, and cash-handling procedures Take and record inventory, and flag low or out-of-stock items to management Coach crew members in the moment and train new staff on procedures and standards Maintain food quality, accurate portioning, and CupBop service standards on every order Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and care Provide shift updates to management and complete end-of-shift reports Open and/or close the restaurant, including end-of-shift procedures Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, and running smoothly throughout the shift What we offer: $17–$19/hour plus tips (tips are on top of your full hourly wage) Sundays off Free meal with every shift (4+ hours) Paid training, employee discount, and flexible scheduling Real advancement opportunities as we grow — Shift Lead is a stepping stone toward Assistant Manager and beyond What we\'re looking for: Prior leadership experience (shift lead, key holder, or strong crew member ready to step up) preferred Comfortable being hands-on in production for the full shift while leading the team Great energy, calm under pressure, and a genuine passion for customer service Ability to thrive in and lead a fast-paced, high-volume environment Comfortable with cash handling, basic reporting, and following operational checklists Dependable and flexible, with availability for opening and/or closing shifts, evenings, and weekends Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation Ready to help launch something new and lead from day one?
