TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301!

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 49-bed Cardiac/Medical Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips; RNs are required to read and sign strips at least once per shift
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, post-cath, CVA/TIA, and total joint replacement
• Administer and manage set-rate drips including Diltiazem/Cardizem; titration of drips is not required
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
• Float to additional campus locations as needed; float to PCU if qualified

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Arizona
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract start
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips
• Experience with CVA and TIA patient populations
• Total joint replacement nursing experience
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR strongly recommended due to limited unit orientation (1 shift)
