Operations Specialist

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Specialist in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position falls within our Manufacturing Operations Facility located in Germantown, MD. Responsibilities:

• Use SAP software to process and confirm picks, deliveries and sales orders.
• Review and take action on multiple daily shipping reports.
• Pack domestic and international sales orders.
• Create shipping labels for small package outbound UPS and FEDEX.
• Pick, process and load palletized truck load orders.
• Monitor and initiate requisitions for shipping supplies as warranted.
• Interact with internal customers (Business Groups) to fulfill their sales order demands and provide status updates.
• Contact freight companies for pick-ups.

Basic Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to climb ladders.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong PC skills, including the ability to learn new software applications.
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Previous warehouse and/or outbound shipment experience

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
