In this cardiovascular catheterization lab role, you will support patients through pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure coordination, and post-procedure recovery while working with advanced cardiac cases in a respected Upstate New York healthcare setting. Job Details Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cath Lab / Cardiac Care / Cardiovascular Nursing Location: Rochester, NY 14642 Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 17 weeks Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts Schedule: 4x10 schedule, straight nights with occasional weekends as needed Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580 Setting: Cardiovascular catheterization lab with pre/post-procedure and PACU recovery support Job Requirements Active New York RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Telemetry experience required Recent CVICU, cardiac care, or PACU experience required Cath lab experience preferred At least 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred/required for consideration Ability to work night shifts and occasional weekends Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for pre- and post-procedure cath lab patients Support procedural workflows in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition Assist with recovery care in PACU and other acute care situations Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality nursing care Care for patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary, and structural heart conditions Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols Why Consider This Rochester Travel RN Opportunity?
