Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery unit. This position offers a fast-paced environment focused on high-acuity maternal and neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, responding to any changes
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation procedures
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license in good standing
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system
  
  
• 
  Complete and pass EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
  
  
• 
  Have labor and delivery or high-acuity obstetric experience preferred
