Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position offers a 3x12 night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a patient ratio of 1:4.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Float between units as needed to meet the needs of the facility.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 3x12 hours (Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include CPI, TNCC, and NRP.
• Epic experience is preferred but not required.

Miscellaneous Information

• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
• The facility holds the right to call off one shift every two weeks.

Additional Considerations

Travelers should be aware of the hurricane season running from June to November, during which all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please consider this when confirming assignments during this period.
