NOW HIRING: Bilingual Mental Health ReceptionistLocation: Hempstead, NY Schedule: Full-time, on-site Pay: $20-$23 per hour A mental health clinic in Hempstead is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized Bilingual Receptionist to join our team. This is a front-desk position working directly with patients, families, providers, and referral sources. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish and comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients and visitors Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Assist patients with intake forms and registration Receive and follow up on referrals Communicate with patients and families in English and Spanish Maintain accurate patient information and documentation Assist with general front-desk and administrative duties Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications: Must be fluent in English and Spanish Strong communication and customer-service skills Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor Organized and able to multitask in a busy office Comfortable with computers, email, and scheduling systems Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) is required Medical office, behavioral health, or receptionist experience preferred Pay: $20-$23/hour We are looking for someone who is dependable, welcoming, and enjoys helping people.
