Highway Maintenance Technician

Highway Maintenance TechnicianDeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to conduct a variety of Highway Maintenance Services, as well as other related tasks under close supervision. We are seeking a qualified applicant that will train in Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Clean and clear culverts.Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.Assist in storm cleanup.Fence and sign repair.Litter/debris removal.Emergency response.Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.Experience:Must be at least 18 years of age or older.Must possess a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.Able to work in adverse weather conditions.Able to lift moderately heavy objects.Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time.Accurate eye-hand coordination.Ability to adapt to changing situations with work plans and work schedules due to workload or season display.Benefit Highlights:Challenging and rewarding work environmentCompetitive CompensationExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan401(K)Generous Paid Time OffCareer DevelopmentPay rate: $16.00/hr.Come be a part of the DeAngelo family, today!
