Cardiac Sonographer (Full-Time, Days)

Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on the adult and geriatric patient population. Responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC. Work M-F 7a-3:30p and weekday/weekend on call shifts. Work 1 weekend per month. Required Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) from Sonography Canada Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification Preferred Qualifications Membership in professional society or societies related to the field of sonography.
