Guest Room Attendant — Create Welcoming, Fresh Rooms

As a Room Attendant – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last‑minute work done. Responsibilities Ensure rooms meet standards, making them special and memorable for guests. Assist guests with items such as a toothbrush or directions. Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to repairs needed. Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required. Remain organized, manage supplies and amenities, and minimize waste. Reunite items with owners and log lost and found property. Present a smart appearance by wearing the uniform with pride. Perform ad‑hoc duties as needed. Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste in all areas of housekeeping. Log all lost and found items per established procedures. Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service. Assist with deep‑cleaning projects as required. May perform turndown duties. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications Physical stamina – active most of the day; fitness important. Ability to lift up to 50 lb (23 kg) and push/pull heavy objects. Comfortable bending and kneeling. Basic literacy skills – reading, writing, and maths. Flexible shift schedule; able to work nights, weekends, holidays.
