Assistant Operations Manager Under the supervision of the WashStudio Owner and Operator, the Laundromat Operations Manager will assist in managing the operations of three WashStudio locations. The role involves maintaining high standards in customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence, while ensuring a clean, safe, and friendly environment for self‑service laundromat, drop‑off laundry, and pick‑up and delivery experiences. Responsibilities People Leadership: supervise and train laundromat staff; ensure productivity and proper scheduling; track employee time and attendance; use interpersonal skills to lead and influence; maintain collaborative relationships. Customer Service & Front Desk Operations: empower employees to provide excellent service; answer patron questions; assist with machine selection; handle concerns and inform the Store Owner; oversee drop‑off and pick‑up processes for wash & fold and dry‑cleaning orders; ensure a friendly experience. Laundry Operations: wash, dry, and fold clothing and linen with high quality; monitor and assess laundry processing; perform regular quality checks. Facility Management: ensure cleanliness of interior and exterior; oversee maintenance of machines and store cleanliness; document and report equipment issues; maintain a safe environment by following security procedures. Administration: enforce company policies and procedures; maintain inventory; order and purchase supplies. Position Requirements Proven experience in people‑leadership roles. Experience with computer systems, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, websites, online tools, and social media. Experience with cash handling and point‑of‑sale systems. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Valid driver’s license. Flexibility to work a flexible schedule.
