We are currently seeking an Electromechanical Technician for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.Factory Location: Allentown, PA (East)Compensation: $40.37/hourShift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours workedSchedule: Days 5:00am-2:00pm, Monday - FridayAbility to work holidays and weekends per business needsBenefits of working for Primo Brands:Health Benefits: Medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending account (FSA), dependent care flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA)Retirement/Investing: 401K with a 5% match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Insurance: Employee Life Insurance, short and long-term disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, spouse/domestic partner/child life insurance, accidental death and dismembermentOther great benefits: Employee discounts, save on auto, home, and pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, 9 paid holidays and 3 paid floating holidays, paid leave for when you have a baby, adopt a child, or become a foster parent, legal services, identity theft protection, employee assistance program (EAP), adoption reimbursement benefit, FEDlogic, commuter benefitsResponsibilities:Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedule to minimize equipment downtimeComplete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural componentsComplete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motorsConduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvementsCoach operators and peers on basic maintenance concepts and optimal equipment settingsParticipate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installationsProvide break relief to production operators or team members as neededOperate a forklift as needed to complete dutiesSupport equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractorsTroubleshoot/investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc.Weld and fabricate parts as needed to get the equipment back runningQualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desiredThree or more years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentDemonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environmentStrong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desiredSolid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, OutlookExperience with CMMS or ERP systems needed, SAP experience preferredAbility to work independently or with a team and communicate effectivelySolid problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to coach othersMust have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motorsMust be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervisionMust be able to foster and build a team-work environmentMust be able to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)Must be proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identificationAble to lift and pull 50 lbs. as needed while performing workWillingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 facility operating through most weekends and holidaysAbility to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interviewCandidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service.
