Radiation Therapist in Richmond, Virginia. This position involves providing radiation therapy services in a well-established radiation oncology unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role entails working Monday through Friday, with start times between 7:30 a.m. and approximately 4:30 p.m.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 3 years of TrueBeam experience, experience with Align RT (Vision RT) surface guidance, and ARIA system knowledge. Certification from the American Association of Radiologic Technologists (AART) is required.
• Additional Information:
  • The position involves procedures such as DIBH, VMAT, SBRT, and surface guidance.
  • The unit operates two TrueBeam linear accelerators, with the latest model installed one month prior to start.
  • Dress code is Caribbean blue scrubs.
  • The department holds accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Commission on Cancer, and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
  • The work environment features experienced staff and advanced equipment, including imaging and treatment systems.
