About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; 1 previous travel assignment required License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must provide proof of licensure pending status at the time of submission. Must have active RN license in hand prior to start date. Description: The Registered Nurse will care for adult patients with complex and multisystem diagnoses. The unit provides care for patients requiring continuous pulse oximetry and telemetry monitoring. Nurses will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage the overall care of patients. Nurse to patient ratios will be approximately 1:5 to 1:6. The position requires every other weekend shifts. Nurses will float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed. Duties will include telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Skills in IV therapy, including PICC line management, are required. Nurses will provide wound care and manage various medical conditions. Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred. COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccination is required with no exemptions.
