Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Louisville, KY. This is a travel assignment providing crucial respiratory care in a dynamic hospital environment. The successful candidate will work with a range of patient types including those with COPD, asthma, and respiratory failure, floating throughout the hospital as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide adult critical care across various hospital units
• Assist with intubations and bedside procedures such as bronchoscopy and tracheostomy
• Administer inhaled epoprostenol, high flow oxygen, and aerosol treatments
• Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver optimized respiratory care plans

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• State license in Respiratory Therapy
• BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP preferred
• RRT preferred, but CRT considered (with manager approval)
• Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care
