Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Pending license not accepted Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI Must-Have: - Experience in Interventional Radiology - Skills in Special Procedures - Ability to maintain equipment and inventory - Proficiency in PACS and stocking supplies - Experience with Adrenal Angiography, Angioplasty, Embolization, Carotid Angiography, Stent Placement, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft Interventions (fistulograms/declots), and Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy - Knowledge of Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography - Ability to set up equipment, prep access site, and act as room circulator - Understanding of Isolation Precautions/PPE and Sterile Technique - Availability for on-call shifts during nights and weekends Description: The Interventional Radiology Tech will perform various interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. First-time travelers are accepted. The role will involve on-call responsibilities for nights and weekends. Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed. The candidate must have certifications in BLS and ARRT for Radiography and Interventional Radiology. Proficiency in equipment maintenance, inventory management, and patient care during procedures is essential. Experience with specific procedures such as Central Venous Access, Dialysis Graft Interventions, and TIPS is preferred. The candidate will work with various interdisciplinary support teams and manage the operational flow in the unit. Knowledge of safety protocol and sterile technique is critical for this position.
