Kitchen Utility Attendant / Dishwasher

Job TitleUpon being hired for this position, you will enter a probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible.Main Duties:Must be available to work all schedules, including nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to understand and follow instructions.Follow a strict sanitation policy.Prior experience performing heavy cleaning, preferably in a commercial kitchen setting.Perform other duties as assigned.Must maintain Expectations listed belowSuccessful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County Food Handlers Card; applicants with an active Food Handlers Card should be prepared to present the Card during the interview process.Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:Ability to lift, handle and transport up to 100 pounds as necessary;Carrying heavy objects up and down stairs;Bending, stooping, lifting;Working while standing for long periods of time;Working at a fast pace for several hours at a time;Working at heights over 6 feetRequired:Experience working in a commercial kitchen using industrial dishwashing equipmentMust possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license and have an acceptable driving record as measured against Colonial Williamsburg's criteria.This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
