What You Will Do: You will be a critical member of the Finance team, providing analytical and financial support within the Helion Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A). This role will be a key Finance role supporting Business Operations, Engineering, Software, Computer Hardware, and owning departmental forecast plans. A successful finance candidate will have a seat at the table with the business and technical leaders, working day-to-day with multiple teams and managing their P&L and capex costs. Providing analytical analysis, building financial models, and financial reporting support in making key business decisions. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Finance Director of FP&A at our Everett, WA office. You Will: Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and financial analyses to deliver actionable insights and communicate financial forecast trends Maintain and manage budgets, business inputs, and update forecasting models on a timely basis Conduct targeted financial and operational analyses to guide cost management and project decision making Partnered with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business drivers, define and measure key KPI metrics, and enhance financial reporting processes to support a dynamic, fast-paced business environment Use Excel, ERP systems (NetSuite or Fusion preferred), and BI and AI Finance tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cohere, etc.) to improve reporting and automate workflows Support efforts to implement new financial and AI tools Required Skills: 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting support within the technology, robotics, energy, or manufacturing industries Experience with financial statements, budgeting, cost tracking, and bridging variance between key aspects of the financials Advanced Excel skills with a strong ability to leverage large data sets; experience with SQL or other database query tools would be a plus Proficiency with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and practical application of AI tools (eg.
