About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Ultrasound Technician Specialty: Ultrasound Tech RVT Certified Duration: 13 weeks Shift: DAYS Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: 2 years of experience required License: RDMS or RVT for Ultrasound required Certifications: Proficiency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, R/O Ectopic Must-Have: Competency in use of Siemens, Philips, and GE Ultrasound Units Description: Interview times are available from 9 AM - 12 PM ET and 3 PM - 6 PM ET. The Imaging Department includes multiple procedure rooms and supports radiologists providing a variety of imaging services. Most assignments will be on shift with other sonographers at the same location. Cases may vary by location and bench assigned. Proficiency in limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate competencies are significant value adds. Support for invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages is also valuable. Scrubs or lab coats are required in either black, teal, or white.
