About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Conflux Systems Inc to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Salmon, Idaho, 83467!

The RN for our Obstetrics Unit provides compassionate and skilled care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. This role involves monitoring and the health of both mother and baby, assisting in the birthing process, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families. In the event that the Obstetrics unit does not have active patients, the RN will be assigned a patient load in the Med/Surg unit, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and continuity of care. This role requires adaptability in patient assignments, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care across multiple units.

Able to work weekends, holidays, and shift rotations as needed. Maintain good physical, emotional, and mental health. Orients and mentors new staff.

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in obstetric nursing required.
Experience in: Maternal / Fetal Assessment; Newborn Assessment; Postpartum Care

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Idaho or approved compact state licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required upon hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire or within one year of employment.
