Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial patient evaluations and detailed follow-up assessments.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for chronic and acute pain patients.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate care with the practice's physicians for interventional procedures or advanced therapies.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment modalities to optimize functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of New York (or eligibility for licensure).
• National certification (AANP/ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs).

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-first bedside manner.
