Hillsborough Ave. near Race Track Rd Compensation: Starting pay $15 per hour (based on experience) Employment type: part-time 8am-2pm M-F (full-time opportunities also available) Experience level: entry level Job title: Direct Care Support Professional Position Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Support Professionals to join our Adult Day Training (ADT) program serving individuals with intellectual and behavioral (IB) needs. In this role, you will provide direct support, supervision, and assistance to clients in a structured, community-based setting. You will play a key role in promoting independence, social engagement, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual and behavioral needs Assist clients with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and personal care as needed Create and implement skill-building exercises, lessons, and conversations that align with individual client goals Facilitate individual and small-group activities Support clients during community outings and social activities Assist and maintain supervision of multiple clients during transport to and from group homes and ADT as needed Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all Accurately document daily progress notes, behavior data, and incident reports Communicate effective with team members, supervisors, and clients Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to change and remain patient, flexible, calm, and professional in all situations Ability to pass Level 1 and 2 background screenings Ability to complete required online training prior to starting employment Reliable transportation needed to and from work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Competitive pay Paid training: CPR/First Aid certification, PCM (Professional Crisis Management) certification Supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Aspiration's Academy
