Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with EP Lab experience for a day shift assignment requiring RRT certification and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the EP Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with cardiac rhythm issues
• Uses Cupid Epic and Change Healthcare systems for patient care documentation
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with rotating late shifts
• No weekends or holidays required
• Must remain on-site for late shifts until all procedures for the day are completed, which may result in overtime
• Floating to units within competencies is required

Requirements

• Current RRT certification required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Circulate, Monitor, and Assessment (Moderate Sedation) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Full date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration
• Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for circulating, monitoring, and assessing patients undergoing moderate sedation for cardiac rhythm procedures
• Works as part of a cardiac electrophysiology care team
• Scrub color provided by the facility
• Candidates must not have worked in a perm or per diem role at this health system within the last 12 months
• COVID vaccine and flu shot are not required; if declined, a mask must be worn at all times except during meals
• Fingerprinting process must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Local candidates accepted
• Radius rate rules apply for local vs travel positioning
• First-time travelers will be considered
