Job Description We are immediately hiring a Quality Coordinator in Spring Hill, TN, for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Summary The Quality Coordinator is responsible for working on the day‑to‑day quality needs of the assembly plant. This entails working closely with the customer in a high‑pace environment providing material assistance when needed. This role also requires data entry and performing quality focus checks to support root‑cause analysis. Essential Functions Schedule inbound trailers to the dock In report material on the GM Host System Act as a trouble‑shooter for material that cannot be processed through normal channels by GM personnel Handle the processing of "hot" parts Handle field calls and answer questions regarding material that flows through the cross dock Update material flow information in the cross‑dock database, monitor non‑conformance by suppliers/carriers and record those issues in an Issues Database Ensure that material flows smoothly and efficiently through the cross dock Ensure that information is shared timely with personnel from GM and Ryder Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Education H.S. diploma/GED Experience Three (3) years or more previous experience in the department Three (3) years or more experience with GM Inventory Systems (Host systems) Skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Ability to work effectively with individuals from different areas and backgrounds, both inside and outside the company Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Using math skills to analyze data. Develops and delivers effective presentations. Ability to build strong customer relationships. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Able to walk on concrete floors for 8 hours daily. Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment. Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices. Knowledge Knowledge of appropriate computer applications to use for tracking and reporting information (Excel, Word, Ryder YMS, Cross Dock database); intermediate level.
