Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Charge Experience)

Location

Plainview, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Level IV Trauma Center
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities with minimal department orientation upon start
• Maintain a patient care ratio of 4:1
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements as established by the facility
• May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current TNCC certification required
• Demonstrated charge nurse experience with ability to lead upon start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a short-term acute care facility
• Familiarity with trauma center protocols and high-acuity emergency patient populations
