The Palms Theatres & IMAX combines the excitement of entertainment with a great dining experience! Our semi-scratch kitchen takes pride in serving high-quality, great-tasting food that enhances our guests’ visits. We’re looking for dependable, motivated Line Cooks to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistent, delicious food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

As a Line Cook, you’ll work alongside the Kitchen Manager and fellow team members to prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines. Whether you’re an experienced cook or looking to grow your kitchen skills, this is an opportunity to be part of a team that takes pride in its work and the experience we create for our guests.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Food Preparation & Quality: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Consistency & Efficiency: Follow established recipes and procedures to ensure food quality, consistency, proper portioning, and kitchen profitability.
• Kitchen Operations: Maintain an organized, well-stocked cooking line and ensure ingredients and supplies are available to support efficient service.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen.
• Equipment & Cleanliness: Properly use, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations, preparation areas, and storage spaces.
• Teamwork & Communication: Communicate effectively with the Kitchen Manager, fellow kitchen team members, and serving staff to coordinate orders, address concerns, and maintain smooth service.
• Problem-Solving: Recognize and communicate food quality concerns, equipment issues, and operational challenges to help prevent disruptions and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Product Rotation: Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients using established inventory and food safety procedures.
• Additional Duties as Assigned: Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed to support daily operations and the overall guest experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail and food quality.
• Willingness to follow established recipes, food safety procedures, and kitchen standards.
• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability for a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
