GreenskeeperThe greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.Job schedule is Mon - Thurs 8 hours each day, Friday 1/2 day, one weekend day (Sat. or Sunday) 1/2 day.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be highly organized, efficient and detail orientedMust possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf courseMust possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenanceSkilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovationMust be dependableResponsibilities:Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessaryGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf coursePerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or managerBenefits:401(k) Retirement PlanHealth and Dental CareVision BenefitDisability InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Account (HSA)Legal AssistancePaid Time-OffEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
