Welding supervisor

The Welding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily welding operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role supervises welders and fitters, coordinates workflow, monitors productivity, and ensures all welding activities comply with company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry codes. Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in welding preferred.
• 5+ years of welding experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.

salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of welders, fitters, and fabrication personnel.
• Assign work based on production schedules, employee skills, and project priorities.
• Ensure all welding work meets quality standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
• Monitor productivity and implement improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce rework.
• Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
