Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Highlights Unit: Med/Surg Beds: 32-bed unit; currently 20 beds due to staffing RN-to-Patient Ratio: Maximum 1:5 Strong Med/Surg experience required EPIC experience required RNs do not titrate drips No call or standby Floating is required; Med/Surg nurses may assist other units as a tasker or extra set of hands Additional shifts may be available Manager creates the schedule and is open to traveler preferences/block scheduling Patient Population A diverse Med/Surg patient population, including: CHF Pneumonia Abdominal pain Pancreatitis Orthopedic patients Detox Post-op/surgical patients Pediatric patients Cerebral palsy (CP) The unit can care for most patient types except laboring mothers and patients requiring titratable cardiac or insulin drips .
