Material Handler

Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday) Join a great team in Orangeville, IL as a Material Handler and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of their food and beverage facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop warehouse and inventory management skills in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. Material Handler Responsibilities Dispatch and support customer orders by entering data, scheduling loads, and preparing necessary documentation such as pick tickets, delivery tickets, and BOLs Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation across multiple sites to ensure accuracy and maintain high customer service levels Assist production operators on the floor and support sanitation to uphold GMP and food safety standards Maintain proper filing of counts, documentation, and communication related to inventory and operations Facilitate movement of inventory between Warehousing and co-manufacturing facilities, traveling approximately 10-20% Perform month-end and year-end inventory counts with attention to detail Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) safely and efficiently to support warehouse operations Support safety and food safety initiatives by adhering to GMP, BRC, and housekeeping procedures Requirements for Material Handler Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications Experience operating forklift equipment (stand-up and sit-down preferred) Previous warehouse experience preferred, with knowledge of inventory management being a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry items, and climb stairs as needed Please note that QPS Employment Group may use a virtual recruiting assistant to help screen and schedule candidates efficiently.
