Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Consultant to join our team on a contingent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, analysis, database management, and data modeling. This role involves working on complex initiatives with broad impact, including enhancing existing reporting systems and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for analytics.
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term analytics challenges.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables.
• Enhance existing SSRS reporting solutions for third-party service providers.
• Focus on SQL skills and SSRS to extract data from a data warehouse.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and charting.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
• Expertise in dimensional modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica or SSIS.
• Understanding of big data frameworks and cloud-based data services.
• Experience with third-party service provider data modeling is a plus.
• General financial services experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $50-$52/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
