Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, by Curio is a stunning waterfront destination located in Southwest Florida, offering the perfect blend of luxury and leisure. With 785 guest rooms and more than 60,000 square feet of event and meeting space, the resort is designed to accommodate both upscale leisure getaways and dynamic business gatherings. The Nail Technician is responsible for providing professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialized nail treatments, in a serene and luxurious setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional technical skills, a strong understanding of sanitation and safety procedures, and a passion for creating personalized guest experiences. Responsibilities include performing nail services to brand standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and recommending home care products to enhance results.

Position available for on-call special events and/or routinely scheduled shifts. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices and procedures.

Job Duties:

• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, polish applications, nail enhancements, and spa treatments according to resort standards.
• Consult with guests to assess preferences and customize services to meet their needs and expectations.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on nail and skincare products to support ongoing home care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nail area, ensuring all sanitation and safety procedures are followed in accordance with state regulations.
• Ensure proper disinfecting and sterilization of tools and workstations after each service.
• Keep current with industry trends, new techniques, and product innovations to continually enhance service offerings.
• Assist with maintaining appropriate product and supply inventory levels.
• Support team members by contributing to a welcoming, professional, and cooperative spa environment.
• Ensure all guest interactions reflect Sunseeker's standards of excellence in hospitality and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the department.

What Are We Looking For?

Minimum Requirements:

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resort performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Required:

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Valid Florida Nail Specialist or Full Specialist License.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional Nail Technician, preferably in a luxury resort or spa setting.
• Proficiency in both classic and contemporary nail techniques, including gel, dip, and spa treatments.
• Previous experience working in a similar hotel, resort or luxury nail spa setting.

Other Minimum Requirements: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
• Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
• Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Professional appearance and demeanor
