Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Transplant Service Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient position in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing nursing care within the transplant services unit, focusing on abdominal organs such as the liver, kidney, and pancreas. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, day shift, outpatient, Monday to Friday
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of transplant experience, experience working with United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Organ Procurement Organization (OPO), proficient with Meditech, Microsoft capabilities, and EMR systems such as TransChart and PatientKeeper
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with transplant experience and UNOS/OPO background will be considered first
• Schedule: Day shift outpatient from 0800 to 1600 hours, minimum 40 hours per week
• Additional Information: Primarily desk work involving computer skills; potential clinic days may include rooming and assessing patients; participation in WebEx meetings as needed; flexibility in patient assignments including pre, waitlist, and post transplant care; maintaining a caring and compassionate demeanor for complex psychosocial patient needs
